Surrender. Is that a hard one for you too?
Learning to surrender has been one of the biggest challenges of my life.
Being a Cancer (crab) I tend to grip really hard. An astrologist once told me a story about how a crab will snap something with its claws and won't let go, to the pain of having its leg cut off. It loses a part of itself in order to keep gripping.
This happens to me all the time. I grip. I push. I resist. To the point of losing myself and the connection to my truth.
It then takes SO much work to find myself again. To reconnect and ground my energy.
So today's post is an invitation to let go a little more, to release your grip and surrender to the magic of life.
It's not because we can't yet see something happening that it's not coming together. It's not because something is painful or uncomfortable that it doesn't have a purpose.
Choose to not lose a part of yourself and let yourself flow with this current moment and everything that is part of it. Without judgement.
Feel the relaxation in that and breathe!
In this video I share some lessons from my recent accident, nearly cutting off my thumb and how I immediately knew it was a lesson in surrender. I share the healing journey after, how it was hard to slow down and what it meant to me to have to do less!
Maybe it inspire you to not put all your value in what you do!
Lots of love xo
